The study highlights the global staffing issues related to repatriation and the challenges associated with retaining repatriates in both emerging and developed economies. It stresses the need for organizations to adopt effective repatriation support practices to retain talent and ensure the success of the repatriation process. The findings of the study suggest that organizations need to develop effective repatriation support practices that address the challenges associated with repatriation. These practices should include pre-departure training, ongoing support during the repatriation process, and post-repatriation career planning.
