In an era where the ecological consequences of corporate endeavors are becoming more evident, there is a mounting fascination with the potential impact of environmentally conscious HR practices on employee performance. The present study delves into the intricate connection between such green HR practices and the environmental performance of employees, specifically exploring the mediating influences of green motivation and PEMM. A comprehensive survey was conducted among individuals employed in the IT sector, ultimately revealing a noteworthy and positive correlation between green HR practices and intrinsic and extrinsic motivation for environmentally friendly actions and PEMM. This research contributes to the growing literature on environmentally conscious HR practices, providing empirical evidence of the positive relationship between such practices, motivation for sustainability, and the advancement of proactive environmental management within the IT industry. The findings of this study hold significant implications for organizations committed to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability. By offering practical insights, this research aids IT companies in developing and implementing green HR strategies that align with their sustainability goals.
