Abstract

Organizations have increasingly implemented work-life balance (WLB) policies in recent years to foster employee well-being and enhance job satisfaction and commitment. This study investigates employee perceptions of WLB policies in relation to organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with employees across various departments in a medium-sized organization. Key findings reveal that perceptions of WLB policies are closely linked to both job satisfaction and organizational commitment, with positive perceptions enhancing loyalty and productivity, while negative perceptions are linked to increased job dissatisfaction. The findings underscore the importance of supportive leadership, flexibility, and transparency in policy implementation. This research contributes to understanding the role of WLB in organizational success and offers practical recommendations for enhancing employee satisfaction through effective WLB practices.
