Affiliation Policy

Journal of Excellence in Business Administration (JEBA) requires all authors to provide accurate, complete, and verifiable institutional or organizational affiliation details at the time of manuscript submission. This policy supports transparency, strengthens research integrity, helps prevent conflicts of interest, and ensures that the scholarly and institutional record of each author is accurately represented.

Institutional Affiliation

Each author must provide their institutional affiliation, including the full name of the institution or organization, department or faculty where applicable, city, and country.

The corresponding author must provide a primary institutional affiliation, a valid email address, and complete contact details for all manuscript-related communication. Authors are also encouraged to provide their ORCID iD to support accurate author identification and metadata indexing.

Multiple Affiliations

If an author is affiliated with more than one institution or organization, all relevant affiliations must be listed separately. Superscript numbers should be used to link each author’s name with the appropriate affiliation. Where multiple authors belong to the same institution, the shared affiliation may be listed once and linked to each relevant author.

Affiliation at the Time of Research

Author affiliations should reflect the institution or organization where the research was conducted or where the author was affiliated at the time the research was undertaken.

If an author’s affiliation has changed after the research was completed, the current affiliation may also be included as a separate note, such as “Current address” or “Current affiliation,” to clarify the change.

Non-Institutional and Independent Authors

Independent researchers, consultants, practitioners, or authors without a formal institutional affiliation may identify themselves as “Independent Researcher,” “Independent Scholar,” or by their relevant professional title. They should also provide a city, country, valid email address, and ORCID iD where available.

Authors must not provide false, misleading, honorary, or unverifiable affiliations. Institutional affiliation must not be used in a way that falsely implies institutional endorsement, funding, approval, or responsibility for the research.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors are responsible for disclosing any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest related to their institutional, organizational, financial, consulting, professional, or personal relationships that may influence, or appear to influence, the research, interpretation, or publication of the manuscript.

Conflict of interest disclosures must be provided at the time of submission and updated during the review or publication process if circumstances change.

Acknowledgement of Institutional and Financial Support

All financial support, research funding, institutional support, grants, sponsorships, technical assistance, or other forms of support relevant to the study must be clearly acknowledged in the Acknowledgements or Funding section of the manuscript.

Authors should accurately identify the role of funders, institutions, or supporting organizations in the design, conduct, analysis, interpretation, writing, or publication of the research, where applicable.

Correction of Affiliation Information

Authors are responsible for ensuring that affiliation information is accurate before publication. If an affiliation error is identified after publication, the corresponding author should contact the editorial office. JEBA may correct affiliation information where appropriate in accordance with the journal’s correction policy.
