This paper examines how emotional intelligence (EI) affects collaboration and communication in remote teams, a working model that has become common due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As employees increasingly work in virtual settings, maintaining effective teamwork and communication is challenging. Using the emotional intelligence framework, this study highlights the importance of self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and social skills in enhancing team cohesion and communication quality. Data from surveys and qualitative interviews reveal that employees with higher EI levels contribute positively to remote work dynamics, fostering better understanding, reducing conflicts, and enhancing overall productivity.
