A Positivity Preserving Nonstandard Numerical Technique for the Solution of Tuberculosis Disease Dynamics

Abstract

This work investigates a six-compartmental model with the impact of vaccination. To solve
the model mathematically, a nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) numerical scheme is
created. The positivity and convergence for the developed method are investigated which
are major characteristics of disease dynamical models and it is revealed that these features
are preserved in the developed scheme
