https://journals.smarcons.com/index.php/APR/article/view/358

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between Attachment Style, Obsessive Love, and Repetitive Thinking among university students. This correlational research was conducted in Faisalabad from November 2021 to April 2022. The sample comprised 300 university students (n=150 men, n=150 women) selected through a convenience sampling strategy from various universities in Faisalabad. The study utilized the Adult Attachment Scale (Collins & Read, 1990), the Repetitive Thinking Questionnaire (RTQ; McEvoy, Mahoney & Moulds, 2010), and the Extreme Love Beliefs Scale (Doron et al., 2014) to measure the key variables. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and t-tests via SPSS version 26 to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation (p<0.001) among all variables, with insecure attachment styles found to predict obsessive love in university students.
Mahnoor HassanBurhan Ul Haq

https://journals.smarcons.com/index.php/APR/article/view/363

The objective of the study was to examine how basic self-evaluation traits such as self-efficacy, locus of control, and emotional stability are associated with job satisfaction among employees. 350 employees from Multan were chosen for the study via convenient selection from various organizations. The study assessed core self-evaluation (CSE) traits and job satisfaction (JS) among employees aged 25 to 40. Using a correlational design, it employed the Rotter Locus of Control Scale, General Self-Efficacy Scale, Generic Job Satisfaction Scale, and the Neuroticism/Emotional Stability Big Five Subscale. Pearson correlation and independent t-tests evaluated the effects of CSE on JS. Findings showed a significant association between CSE traits and job satisfaction. Female employees were more satisfied than males, and job satisfaction increased with age. A positive correlation was found between internal locus of control, self-efficacy, emotional stability, and job satisfaction. These CSE traits enhance job satisfaction, work engagement, motivation, and overall well-being and productivity.
Sidra FarooqSajid TufailAyesha Rasool

https://journals.smarcons.com/index.php/APR/article/view/283

The purpose of the present research was to investigate the relationship among noise sensitivity, annoyance and quality of life in traffic police officers. It was hypothesized that there is likely to be a significant negative relationship between noise sensitivity, annoyance, and quality of life. it was also hypothesized that Quality of life was likely to be predicted by noise sensitivity and annoyance. Correlational research design was used to recruit a sample of Traffic police officers (N=100). Measures include the WHO Quality of Life- brief scale (WHO,2014), Noise sensitivity questionnaire (Schuette et al., 2007), and Annoyance questionnaire (Enembe, 2015). Results revealed noise sensitivity is positively correlated with quality of life and negatively related with annoyance. Regression analysis showed that noise sensitivity predicts quality of life but annoyance does not predict the outcome. The research will provide the ground for future research. Traffic police departments can arrange such activities and counseling sessions to solve the issues and problems of traffic police officers related to their mental and physical health.
Farah IqbalUsman Zaheer
